Gas and Electrical Safety Test

I got CAS Duncan to carry out gas and electrical safety tests plus install fire alarms which they did to a high standard. The workmen turned up when they said they would and got everything done in one day, including a couple of things that only became apparent once they started work.

They also emailed PDF copies of the certificates as well as posting out hard copies in a timely manner.

Will definitely be using these guys again in future, and would recommend them to anyone.

Oven Repair

My oven stopped working recently. Phoned CAS on the Wednesday and it was fixed by the Thursday afternoon. Great customer care from the beginning. The phone operator who made the appointment was very friendly and polite as was the repair man Sean, who answered all my questions and gave, great advice. Will definitely use again and would highly recommend. Ten outta ten.

Home installation

Craig was professional, efficient and helpful. He was thorough and checked his work before he left. The appointment was not rushed and the quality of the work is excellent. Thank you

By 1st February 2021, ALL HOMES should comply to the Tolerable Standard by having:

This applies to ALL homeowner and landlords

Why are the changes happening?

When do the changes Start?

The Tolerable Standard is extended by the ‘Housing (Scotland) Act 1987 (Tolerable Standard) (Extension of Criteria) Order 2019’ and will apply to all housing in Scotland from 1st February 2021.
